The Jukai ceremony is a rite of passage in which students of The Buddha Way formally become Buddhists, and receive lay vestments from their Precept Teacher who also gives them a Dharma name. It is a commitment to practicing the Bodhisattva Precepts and continuing the Buddhist Stream.
This year we have 6 Jukai recipients, and we hope you can join us to celebrate them and their practice. Regular Sunday Program starts at 9:30am with the Gate Of Sweet Nectar Service, and Jukai will start at 11am in lieu of the Dharma Talk.
