Roshi Pat Enkyo O’Hara is a dear friend and Dharma sister of Seisen Roshi's. She is the founder, senior teacher, and abbot emerita of the Village Zendo. Enkyo Roshi received priest ordination from Maezumi Roshi and Dharma Transmission and Inka from Bernie Tetsugen Glassman. Roshi Glassman’s focus on social engagement and peacemaking underlies much of her vision of Zen practice.

Enkyo Roshiis a Founding Teacher of the Zen Peacemaker Family, a spiritual and social action association. Her focus is on the expression of Zen through caring, service, and creative response.

The talk will begin at 11am, but please join us beforehand for the Gate of Sweet Nectar Service. Opportunities to talk with a Sweetwater Dharma teacher will be available during Zazen, and we'll offer our Intro to Meditation Class at 10am.
