With talks that are equal parts touching and humorous, Bernie Glassman’s workshop will inspire you to live a life that matters by bearing witness to the wholeness of human experience. Bernie communicates decades of experience in down-to-earth language that connects with people of all backgrounds. As he teaches us to “make the best meal using the ingredients available,” he often includes the ingredients of each workshop: the participants. Starting with the questions of each particular crowd, he crafts a presentation unique to each group. Bernie will ruffle your feathers and send you off ready to take action to create a more compassionate world.
Bernie’s shares insights from:
- Studying and teaching Zen for over 50 years
- Leading Bearing Witness Retreats on the streets and Auschwitz
- Initiating social enterprises and non-profits
- Clowning in refuge camps
- Peace work in the Middle East
